Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 3 Ice cubes, as desired
  • 0.5 canned pumpkin puree
  • 0.5 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 0.25 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  • 1. Peel the banana and chop it into small pieces.
  • 2. In a blender, combine the chopped banana, pumpkin puree, Greek yogurt, almond milk, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. Add the honey or maple syrup, if desired.
  • 3. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If the shake is too thick, add a little more almond milk or water to thin it out.
  • 4. Add ice cubes to the blender and blend again until the ice is fully crushed and incorporated into the shake.
  • 5. Taste the shake and adjust the sweetness or spices, as needed.
  • 6. Pour the shake into glasses and serve immediately.
